Ok, this will be a short and sweet review of this case.
Spoiler: it disappoints !
For some reason case manufacturers can't seem to build any kind of flip case without it being useless for flash photography.
So unfortunately, despite this looking stunning, fitting perfectly and giving lots of protection, it is unusable with the camera when using the flash.
All you are left with is a pink glow across all your pictures.
Despite me always trying to avoid the flash, there will often be a pic you need to take in a dark setting like a pub which will result in something pink like the images in this post, which makes it a deal breaker for me.
For reference I took a pic of a chair without the flash in a well lit room, the same with the flash on and a pic in total darkness with the flash on (almost completely pink)
I get so angry at case manufacturers for not being able to make this work, or reviewers for not even testing against this flaw.
So there you go, I got so angry I felt the need to come out of retirement and knock this post together on my iPhone with a 'Speck' shield that works just fine.

Moving from Jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 to Jailbroken iOS 4.3.1
So I just Jailbroke my iPhone using redsn0w to get untethered 4.3.1.
I found it quite difficult to find a simple guide that basically said
'Shit you need to do first if you are coming from a jailbreak' so read on for some steps mssing in other guides.

From Power Mac to iPad, a shift in mentality.
I started with a Power Mac
It was big
I wanted raw power and lots of expansion options, yanno to play Doom 2 on!
Then went dual Power Mac G4
Fear me!
Hear me roar!
Dual Processor Power, all that expansion, I'm gonna run the shit out of Diablo 2 on this!
And it looks pretty
Yanno what, the G5 iMac will give me plenty of oomph and it takes up way less space...
Yeah this feels...
this feels right.
Yanno what would be cool , if i could get that power in an even smaller package
i dont really need a 20" screen
and Dual Core Intel is fast enough for me
if i up the RAM I'll be fine and besides it's so portable
Hmm I'm leaving my laptop at home more and more now.
This iPhone does most of what I generally use my laptop for...
It looks awesome and is really portable
The touch UI is killer
it would be great if it had a bigger screen though....
BAM!
iPad 2!
Don't get me wrong i still want the mothership beast i can fire up to encode video, yanno that one time a year.
But for the most part, for what i do online, the iPad is more immersive, portable, organic and convenient than my macs of yesteryear ever could be.
The end

Google Instant: Wasting my time
I don't get the need for Google latest search innovation 'Instant'
The idea goes that Google can predict what you are looking for before you have finished typing it, saving you valuable seconds and sparing you the trauma of hitting the return key.
Assuming that was a noble cause, I don't think it works.

Choosing the best phone: Waiting for the next big thing...
My G1 gadget Pain has been recently helped by the fact that, unknown to me it was still under guarantee! So the good people at T-Mobile have taken it away to their Bunsen burner filled laboratories to tinker with it and once again give life to the little Android that could.
Another miracle however has landed, my contract is up for renewal which means I'm due a new phone!
But which one??...

Subliminal Disaster Mongering
In support of 'posting any old shit' what's with the Emergency Exit Sign?!?
In the event of an emergency, important safety folk always encourage you to leave in a calm and orderly fashion right??
Yet Mr Emergency Exit man can clearly be seen sprinting for the exit on many variations of said signage.
Accidental mixed message or secret subliminal disaster mongering??
You decide
